POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the daily operation of our facility by completing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and performing facility repairs. This role plays a key part in ensuring all machinery, systems, and infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Essential Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on all facility equipment and systems.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation issues.Repair or replace malfunctioning equipment, parts, and components as needed.Conduct electrical system testing, including continuity and wiring inspections.Complete general facility repairs including carpentry, plumbing, welding, fabrication (metal/plastic), and basic construction work.Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as part of daily pre-operation and shutdown procedures.Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders to complete maintenance tasks correctly.Perform daily pre-operational equipment checks and document findings.Maintainaccuratemaintenance and repair logs.Follow all C&C Produce safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and facility policies.Support emergency maintenance during unplanned equipment failure or facility issues.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a warehouse, food distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of PLC systems, hydraulics, electrical components, and automation.Working knowledge of general maintenance processes and procedures.
Preferred Required
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Strong attention to safety, detail, and documentation.Ability to lift to 50lbsand perform physical activity including standing, bending, climbing, and kneeling.Valid driver’s license.High school diploma or GED required.Technical certification in HVAC, Building Maintenance Technology, or related field preferred.Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.OTHER DUTIES:
