Position Overview
A forklift operator at Graves Foods is responsible for handling and moving food products within a warehouse or distribution center. This role requires strict adherence to safety and hygiene standards to ensure the quality and safety of food products.
Key Responsibilities
Selecting and handling product and palletizing it neatly on palletsIdentifies items for selection and ensures that once the order is complete and accurate using voice picking systemOperate a stand-up forklift, electric, double pallet jack safely and efficiently to transport productMaintaining safety and productivity benchmarks is a minimum requirement of the jobMaintain workspace and equipment in an organized and neat fashionRegular, timely attendance as defined by the attendance policy, is a minimum requirement of the job.Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.Other tasks as assigned.REQUIREMENTS:

Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not always required. On-the-job training is often provided.
- Previous experience operating a forklift and other warehouse technical equipment preferred.
- Previous order selecting experience preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines and case-per-hour requirements
- Ability to listen, understand and respond to instruction
- Operate within Standard Operating Procedure and follow OSHA guidelines.
- High-level of accuracy & attention to detail.
- Voice picking experience preferred.
