Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing guest amenities.
• Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Restock towels, linens, toiletries, and other guest amenities.
• Remove trash and soiled linens from guest rooms and housekeeping carts.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged furniture, missing items, and safety hazards promptly.
• Follow all housekeeping procedures, hotel standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Perform deep cleaning projects, including upholstery, windows, walls, baseboards, vents, and other assigned tasks.
• Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with OSHA and hotel safety guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and linen closets in a clean and organized manner.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or housekeeping services.
• Work efficiently to meet daily room quotas while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist fellow housekeeping team members during high occupancy periods and special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous hotel housekeeping, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hospitality cleaning standards and proper sanitation practices.
• Experience using commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management and reliability.
• Positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding guest service.
• Ability to communicate professionally with guests, coworkers, and management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, twist, and reach for extended periods.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Push loaded housekeeping carts throughout the property.
• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments throughout the shift.
• Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions, including high temperatures, rain, wind, and cold, as some guest rooms are accessed from exterior walkways.
• Ability to climb stairs multiple times throughout the day.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and according to business needs.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
