The Construction Project Manager oversees a variety of real estate development and construction projects across Gold’s Gym. This position is based in Dallas, TX, and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to lead projects through planning, design, permitting, construction, turnover, and grand opening.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead construction projects end-to-end, from site due diligence through design, permitting, construction, and grand opening
- Manage concurrent projects ($250K–$6M ) ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with company standards
- Develop and manage budgets, schedules, cash flow forecasts, and cost estimates
- Negotiate and administer contracts, change orders, and vendor agreements
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure accurate, compliant construction documents
- Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and specifications for quality and constructability
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, quality, and schedule adherence
- Lead project meetings, maintain documentation, and provide regular status reporting
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve project issues, and ensure code and regulatory compliance
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners
- Travel nationwide to support project execution
Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial construction project management experience
- Experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, or tenant improvement projects preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems (civil, structural, MEP), and permitting
- Proven experience with budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
- Experience with Smartsheet, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Familiarity with Procore, MS Project, or similar tools preferred
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel nationwide
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
