Duties
- Safely operate a Class C commercial vehicle to deliver products along designated routes in a timely manner.
- Assist with loading and unloading merchandise, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging positively with clients, answering questions, and addressing their needs.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Support merchandising efforts by restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are appealing and organized.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate route schedules and report any issues or delays.
- Uphold safety standards by following traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills for handling pricing, invoices, and basic calculations during deliveries.
- Good communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service is a plus; military background is also considered valuable for discipline and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of route driving, merchandising, and basic sales techniques will set you apart.
