Dut to our continued growth, we are searching for a Warehouse Manager for our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Branch Office to join our team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and inventory movement.
- Lead, train, schedule, and support warehouse employees to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety goals.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, audits, reporting, and proper stock rotation.
- Monitor workflow, staffing needs, warehouse layout, and equipment use to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Ensure customer orders are processed correctly and shipped on time.
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures, proper equipment use, and housekeeping standards.
- Communicate with purchasing, sales, customer service, transportation, and management to support business needs.
- Review operational reports and recommend improvements to warehouse processes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, inventory control, or a related field.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to assign work, set priorities, coach employees, and hold team members accountable.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures.
- Experience with inventory systems, warehouse management software, scanners, Microsoft Office, or similar tools preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is a plus.
