Bagging Machine Operator

Due to our continued growth, we are excited to announce a Bagging Machine Operator opportunity available at our Cincinnati location.

Job Summary:

• The Bagging Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining automated Vertical Form/Fill/Seal Machines to ensure efficient and sanitary packaging of food products. This role requires adherence to food safety regulations, quality control standards, and production goals while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect packaged food items to ensure correct weight, sealing, labeling, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and other food safety regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Load and replenish packaging materials, including food-grade bags, labels, and sealing components.
• Maintain accurate logs of production output, machine performance, and any maintenance activities.
• Identify and resolve issues such as jams, incorrect sealing, or weight discrepancies to minimize product waste.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a hygienic work environment.
• Set up machinery multiple times in a day to run different packaging sizes and varieties of finished goods.
• Perform required cleaning of equipment, following necessary procedures, to ensure sanitary and operational readiness.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Be able to set up, operate, and monitor Vertical Form/Fill/Seal machines to package food products according to company specifications.
• Previous experience in food packaging or machine operation (preferred).
• Understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, FDA regulations, etc.).
• Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain quality control.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Ability to train others in running and troubleshooting equipment.
