Due to our continued growth, we are excited to announce a Product Tester opportunity available at our Cincinnati, OH location.
Job Summary
The Product Tester is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying manufactured products to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and safety requirements. This role plays a critical part in identifying defects, documenting results, and supporting continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine testing of finished products, components, and assemblies
- Conduct visual, mechanical, electrical, or functional tests according to work instructions and quality standards
- Document test results accurately and report defects, failures, or deviations
- Identify trends in product defects and communicate findings to production and quality teams
- Verify product compliance with internal specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
- Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and supporting corrective actions
- Maintain testing equipment, tools, and work areas in safe and proper condition
- Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, or product testing preferred
- Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection methods
- Proven ability to read electrical schematic diagrams and troubleshooting of electrical circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and test procedures
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, multimeters, etc.)
- Technical or vocational training in manufacturing, electronics, or mechanical systems
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as required
- Manual dexterity for handling small components and test equipment
