Key Responsibilities:

• Driver Recruitment & Onboarding: Partner with talent sourcing teams to post open routes, manage applicant flow, and guide candidates through the FedEx First Advantage onboarding pipeline.

• Background & Safety Screenings: Coordinate mandatory pre-employment drug testing, DOT physicals, and background verifications.

• DOT Compliance & DQFs: Maintain strict Driver Qualification Files (DQFs) per FMCSA and FedEx standards. Monitor expirations for MVRs, driver’s licenses, and medical cards.

• Safety & Workers' Comp: Document safety milestones, process route injury/workers' compensation claims, and keep the team audit-ready.

• Driver Retention & Time Tracking: Manage PTO, sick leave, and driver route concerns to reduce turn during high-volume shipping seasons.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 2 years of HR Generalist experience required (1 years in logistics, trucking, transportation, or warehousing preferred).

• Compliance Knowledge: Basic familiarity with FMCSA / DOT compliance requirements or Driver Qualification Files.

• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and tracking spreadsheets.

• Soft Skills: Strong conflict-resolution abilities and composure in a dynamic, fast-paced transportation environment.

Preferred (Not Required):

• Direct experience navigating the FedEx First Advantage driver qualification platform.
