Responsibilities
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Workday, iCIMS, or Taleo.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated seamlessly into the organization.
- Support employee evaluation processes by gathering data, preparing performance review documentation, and assisting managers with performance management initiatives.
- Contribute to benefits administration activities, including data entry for benefits enrollment, managing employee inquiries, and supporting benefits providers like ADP or Paychex.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records using systems such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or UltiPro; ensure data collection is complete and up-to-date.
- Assist in employee relations efforts by addressing routine inquiries, supporting conflict management processes, and helping facilitate positive communication across teams.
- Support HR projects related to change management, organization design, succession planning, and affirmative action planning to promote strategic growth initiatives.
- Help coordinate training & development programs by scheduling sessions and tracking participation using tools like Workday or Kronos.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law standards such as OSHA regulations and workers’ compensation procedures.
- Contribute to workforce management activities including timekeeping (Kronos), payroll processing (Paychex or ADP), and leave administration (FMLA).
- Support administrative functions through data entry, contract management, document preparation, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Engage in social media management for employer branding efforts and assist with internal communication initiatives to foster a vibrant workplace culture.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human capital management principles and HR best practices across various systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, UltiPro, Taleo, Paylocity, or Ceridian.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information across diverse audiences.
- Proven experience in recruitment processes including sourcing candidates via ATS platforms like iCIMS or Lever; adept at interviewing techniques.
- Familiarity with employment & labor law compliance standards including OSHA regulations and workers’ compensation procedures.
- Demonstrated ability in project management with a focus on change management initiatives and organizational design strategies.
- Skilled in benefits administration tasks such as data collection for enrollment and managing inquiries related to employee benefits programs.
- Competence in training & development coordination along with performance management support tools.
- Experience in employee relations activities including conflict resolution and fostering positive workplace interactions.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems like PeopleSoft or Dayforce; adept at data entry and maintaining accurate records for HR reporting purposes.
