What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dental Hygienist position at Gold Dental, PLLC?
We are currently seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! The position available is for Fridays from 7:45 am - 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide preventative dental care including cleanings, scaling and root planing
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits
- Assist the dentist in identifying signs of disease, such as gingivitis or periodontitis
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Ensure infection control and OSHA compliance in all tasks
- Promote a positive patient experience and help maintain high patient satisfaction
Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in New York.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for patient education and oral health
- Proficiency with dental software
- New graduates are welcome to apply!
