Job description:
Gold Crest Child Care Center, is eagerly hiring. We are looking for a full-time Child Care Teacher who is enthusiastic and passionate about Early Childhood development and education. They must have a desire to build a strong relationship with children and their families. The focus of our center is FUN and LEARNING and we want someone that truly enjoys the FUN of teaching!
Some of the duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Build strong relationships and maintain communication and collaborate with families to achieve success for their child
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept classroom that encourages exploration
- Uses expertise and knowledge to adhere to state licensing requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1,500 verified clock hours of experience in organized group activities for young children as indicated by a positive reference from a former employer or supervisor
- Must be 19 years or older to apply
- Degree in early childhood education preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience (1500 clock hours)
- Current CPR/First Aid certificate
- Current fingerprint card
- Valid driver’s license with a current driving record and a reliable source of transportation
- The ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time, 7:15 AM - 4:30 PM
