Gold Coast Psychological Services (GCPS) is pleased to announce the posting of a position for a Post-Doctoral Clinical Psychology Fellow to begin as soon as possible.
GCPS is a growing group practice in Jersey City, NJ committed to providing high quality relationally oriented psychodynamic psychotherapy to late adolescents, adults and couples. The practice is dedicated to providing a supportive and accepting space that fosters healing for clientele, and professional development for employees. As we are a family centered practice, we aspire to offer flexibility in the scheduling of work hours.
We are looking to grow our team with an individual who is:
- An empathic and capable clinician comfortable working with diverse patients and presentations.
- Committed to establishing a safe, non-judgmental clinical space for clients.
- Seeking to deepen their understanding and practice of psychodynamic theory and technique.
- Diligent, professional, and works well independently.
- Collaborative and open to various dynamic perspectives.
- Pursuing supervision from a seasoned psychologist and clinical mentor.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology; early career professionals are encouraged to apply.
- Must be an NJ licensed psychologist, or eligible for an NJ three-year supervised temporary permit.
- Gradually work towards building a caseload averaging 20-25 patients.
- Availability to work weekends preferred.

Dr. Miriam Burt, Psy.D. is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Founder and Clinical Director of Gold Coast Psychological Services. She is a graduate of the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and has almost 20 years of clinical experience within a university setting and in private practice. She is bilingual and fluent in Spanish.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
