Role Description The Account Manager – Landscaping is a full-time, on-site role based in Lake Worth, FL. This role oversees a portfolio of commercial and community landscape accounts, serving as the primary contact for clients and ensuring services meet or exceed expectations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating maintenance schedules, conducting site walks, identifying landscape improvements, and resolving service issues in a timely manner. The Account Manager works closely with field crews to communicate work orders, uphold quality standards, and ensure safety and compliance on job sites. The role also includes preparing estimates, assisting with proposals, monitoring budgets, and supporting client renewals and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Landscape and property management skills, including knowledge of turf care, irrigation, plant health, and commercial grounds maintenance.
- Customer relationship and account management skills, with the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and respond promptly to client needs.
- Operational coordination skills, such as scheduling crews, prioritizing work orders, and maintaining quality and safety standards on multiple sites.
- Basic business and administrative skills, including budgeting, estimating services, reviewing contracts, and using software for reporting and communication.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with field staff, leadership, and clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in commercial landscaping, property maintenance, or a related field; prior account management experience is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel locally between job sites as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to walk properties regularly to inspect work and identify issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in horticulture, landscaping, or business are a plus.
