Job Summary
Gold Coast Ingredients, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of food flavors and colors. We are seeking qualified candidates for Human Resources Coordinator. The position is responsible for supporting the HR Department and providing assistance to the Human Resources Manager to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, labor laws and regulations.

- Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
· Assist with talent acquisition process by notifying employment agencies of available opportunities and scheduling interviews
· Posting job opportunities on assigned job posting sites and review resumes
· Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires
· Prepare and maintain all required new employee documentation
· Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS system
· Maintain employee personnel files
· Maintain accurate Temp employee information in HRIS system; review timesheets for accuracy and submit weekly to agencies
· Benefits Administration: providing employees with benefit plan information; enrolling employees in benefit plans; process changes; billing reconciliation; COBRA processing; ensure compliance with applicable laws
· Assist HR Manager with preparation and submission of compliance labor law reporting, (ex: EEO-1, OSHA reporting, Worker’s Compensation, etc.)
· Conduct employee training required by company, industry and/or labor laws. Maintain accurate training records
· Maintain all employee records (ex: attendance, vacation, I-9 documentation, benefit enrollments, payroll changes, etc.)
· Payroll processing: review all payroll documentation for accuracy; maintain vacation schedule; assist Accounting Manager with payroll processing (in-house system). Be able to process payroll in absence of Accounting Manager.
· Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures and benefits. Assist management with conflict resolution and supporting engagement activities.
· HR projects: participate in various HR projects and initiatives
· Compliance Management: staying updated on employment laws and ensuring company adheres to legal requirements
· Collect data as may be requested for HR analytics
Desired Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
· Minimum of three years experience in Human Resources as HR Coordinator or Asst. HR Manager. Experience in the food industry a plus.
· Familiarity with employment and labor law compliance, including Worker’s Compensation, FMLA, OSHA, Sexual Harassment, etc.
· Proficiency in applicant sourcing tools
· Experience in benefits administration
· Experience in payroll processing
· Ability to handle data collection and accurate entry into HRIS system
· Experience preparing new employee documentation and conducting new employee onboarding and orientation programs
· Experience conducting employee training
· Experience maintaining accurate employee documentation/files
· Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
· Excellent computer and data entry skills
· Must be bilingual (Spanish) – verbal and written
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
