Founded in 2009, GBI (https://gbi.co) is a rapidly growing fintech/commodities company, building groundbreaking technology to enable wealth management professionals access to physical precious metals for their clients. Our software is already deeply integrated into some of the world’s top wealth managers and powers retail applications around the globe.


GBI’s core platform currently allows clients to buy, sell, store, and take delivery of precious metals through an agency model through their existing accounts and trading systems or directly through our online portals. An innovative combination of a global over-the-counter marketplace and a storage/logistics network allows wealth managers and institutional investors to integrate these holdings into their portfolio allocation, maintaining assets under management, growing client assets and relationships, and providing value added services to their clients.


Who we are looking for: 

  • Ability to work in US EST hours (or at least until 2PM EST)
  • Experience and successful track record of managing complex software development, delivery, and support.
  • An ideal candidate has a strong technical background (worked as a lead developer and/or architect) before moving into a leadership role.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing software in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with .Net stack and Azure ecosystem (Azure Boards, CI/CD, Git Repos etc.),
  • Experience with UX/UI design tools, React JS and react native preferred, but not necessary.
  • Hands-on experience in both front-end (Either React or Angular) and back-end development highly preferred.
  • Experience in developing SaaS/Cloud based products a must.
  • People management experience with multiple teams located in different time zones.
  • Strong technical knowledge of software development technologies & lifecycle including web apps, Rest APIs, microservices, and infrastructure components.
  • This position will provide leadership on areas of execution for functional, non-functional, white box, integration and reliability testing for applications keeping automation in mind.
  • Experience evaluating complex strategic initiatives, facilitating, influencing, and contributing to design.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify key issues, structure analysis and synthesize data, and provide recommendations effectively
  • Strong leadership skills, team-oriented, collaborative, and flexible
  • Effective interpersonal, listening, oral, written and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Masters Preferred

  • Coaching/Training team members as needed and providing timely feedback.
  • Participate in solution design, code review and supporting our customers. 
  • Recruit and hire the right talent.
  • Set expectations and goals for developers and testers.
  • Perform performance reviews and coach employees.
  • Lead and manage software development scrum teams – from inception to product rollout.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to mitigate risk and resolve dependencies.

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
