Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President who will partner with Regional Vice Presidents to cultivate relationships with key financial advisors within a specified channel and territory(ies), with the goal of accelerating the adoption of GBI’s solution.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partner with Regional Vice Presidents to drive sales opportunities within assigned territory(ies).
- Cultivate relationships with financial advisors through high-quality interactions including. proactive and reactive calls, emails, and follow-ups.
- Maintain a high-level of client service by answering inbound inquiries and working with the team to resolve specific account issues.
- Demonstrate ability to understand and articulate effectively, offer insight and product information to financial professionals so they can successfully offer GBI solutions to their customers.
- Take a consultative approach to working with financial advisors by understanding their business, clients and investment challenges to better match GBI solutions to their needs.
- Work with Regional Vice Presidents to establish and execute territory plan(s) and utilize data to optimize engagement with financial advisors.
- Utilize the CRM system to log all client/prospect related activity on a daily basis.
- Must be in the office a minimum of 3 days a week.
Qualifications
- Dynamic, high-energy sales professional with at least 2-4 years of successful sales experience.
- Motivation: Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales targets and advance within the company.
- Dependability: Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Education: A BA/BS in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and management.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude. Experience handling client inquiries courteously and effectively.
- Sales Ability: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate financial products or services.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with financial software, and CRM systems required. HubSpot preferred.
- Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet. Capability to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment. Willingness to collaborate and support team members to achieve common goals.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing job requirements and handle unforeseen challenges.
