Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload shipments using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory control.
- Stock shelves with produce, merchandise, and grocery items while maintaining proper signage and pricing.
- Conduct regular inventory management tasks including stock counts, cycle counts, and updating inventory records.
- Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and organizing outgoing deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness of the store environment by performing routine cleaning, organizing stock areas, and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively to maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with locating items, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience or retail stocking background preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory control tasks.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations, retail math, merchandising, shipping & receiving processes is advantageous.
