We are a family-owned demolition company seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative assistant to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office operations and supporting various administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer literacy and experience in office management. You'll work directly with the business owners and play a key role in keeping our back office organized and efficient.
key responsibilities
- Create and send estimates and invoices
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for documentation, reports, and billing.
- Support bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Follow up and keep track of accounts receivables
- Follow up and keep track of accounts payable
- Prepare payroll biweekly
- Provide support with various clerical tasks as needed
- Maintain an organized and efficient office environment, both digitally and physically.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, filters, formatting) and Google Workspace tools
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online - required
- Strong computer skills with high computer literacy and data entry accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience with office management systems
- Previous experience with construction office preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, small office environment
