What are the responsibilities and job description for the Festival Food Staff position at Goku Kitchen?
We are a New York-based food vendor participating in an upcoming food festival in Cincinnati . We are looking for motivated, hardworking, reliable, and friendly individuals to join our team and help operate our food booth during the event.
Pay: $18/hour
Event Schedule
- 10/16: 2:00 Pm-10pm
- 10/17:9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Two staff members will rotate shifts during the day.
- 10/18: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PMApplicants who are available for all three days are preferred.Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the food booth
- Lift, carry, and organize equipment and supplies
- Assist with food preparation, packaging, and serving
- Take customer orders and assist with payments as needed
- Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the event
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Help with other booth operations as needed
Physical & Work Requirements
This is an active and physically demanding event position. Candidates should be comfortable:
- Standing and walking for 8 hours during a shift
- Lifting and carrying equipment and supplies
- Working outdoors and in a fast-paced festival environment
- Working efficiently during high-volume periods
- Performing physical tasks associated with booth setup and breakdown
During busy periods, meal or rest breaks may need to be coordinated around customer traffic and operational needs, in accordance with applicable labor requirements.

College students are welcome. Previous food service or festival experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.
