Role Type: 100% Onsite

Role Objective

Maintain a continuous production/processing operation. Follows production/process specifications or instructions as documented and directed. Monitors Quality guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Performs all work in accordance with established safety and quality procedures.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Expected to meet the daily production schedule.
• Performs minor operation and changeover procedures and assists maintenance on major changeovers.
• Verifies availability of required components, sub-assemblies and supplies at work station for upcoming and current orders.
• Retrieve required components for production orders from staging area, back flush or Kanban.
• Reconciles and returns remaining components to the locator after production runs.
• Maintains line and equipment within housekeeping and cleanliness guidelines.
• Maintains operating records as required. Includes maintaining machine log, check lists, books and other company records for auditing purposes according to relevant standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Starts and stops machines (utilizing the emergency E-stop) and complies with lock-out/tag-out procedures, alerting maintenance of any malfunction.
• Assists with changeovers and general upkeep of line equipment; adjusting and operation of glue and tape machines, counting, perform component reconciliation, printer set-up and basic operation (Fox Jet, Laser Coder, Video Jet) and boxing surplus components.
• Troubleshoots any malfunctions and report abnormalities to the Production Leader/Supervisor and Maintenance. Makes minor adjustments to equipment within written work instructions (SOP and WIS).
• Adheres to standard operating procedures, cGMP, safety and housekeeping requirements. May train others as assigned.
• Required to work on Production lines as needed and able to perform all manual functions.
• Must work well with a team or Individually.
  
  

Education and Experience

• Hand/eye coordination to perform all tasks of the position.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Lifting requirement up to 55 pounds.
• Physical agility to perform all tasks of the position.
• Active learning: working with new materials or information to grasp implications.
• Possess mechanical aptitude.
• Professional verbal & written communication skills.
• Skill in the care and use of hand tools (and any other equipment necessary) that is needed to perform tasks of the position.
• Reading Comprehension: understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents such as machine guides, standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Know how to find information and identify essential information by using basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail; able to identify and verify components by number and physical attributes.
• Possess strong safety knowledge of handling machinery.
• Must own a satisfactory, overall safety record.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Comply with all cGMP regulations, which includes personal hygiene, dress code, PPE
