GOGov is an established & fast-growing software company in the highly attractive GovTech space based out of Long Island, NY.
We supply 650 municipalities around the country with the tools necessary to maintain, develop and connect millions of citizens with their local governments. Through programs like Citizen Request, Mobile Notifications and Online Permitting – we make Government Simple for citizens, elected officials and the staff that manage it.
We are hiring multiple highly motivated professionals to be part of our sales team to help develop new and existing territories, while pursuing a career with an innovative tech company in a booming industry.
YOUR MISSION
As a Sales Development Rep, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our dynamic sales team. Your mission is to assist in generating valuable leads, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth flow of our sales operations.

- $85,000 On-Target Earnings ($60k Base Salary)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily Cold Calling and Emailing
- Schedule Demos with Prospects
- Cultivate early-stage opportunities
- Track activity in Salesforce.com
- Effectively communicate the value proposition and overcome objections and competitive questions
- Attend Tradeshows and Events (approx. 10 per year)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent Communicator
- Strong phone presence and writing skills
- Highly organized and self-starter
- Outgoing, loves to talk
- 1 to 2 years of relevant professional office experience
- Bonus Skill - Salesforce.com, MS Office, Zoom
- Bonus Skill - Experience in Local Government or SaaS
