The Gogo Financial Analyst is responsible for financial modeling and forecasting in a fast-growing technology company. This position will be a key contributor to the FP&A function at Gogo.
The Financial Analyst focuses on developing revenue forecast/budget and long-term plan, including key revenue metrics, supporting quarterly earnings calls and MD&A analysis, formulating analysis of financial and operational data to support effective decision-making and large company wide initiatives.

How will you make a difference?
- Support and maintain detailed revenue forecast, budget, and long-range plans across all revenue streams
- Contribute to revenue-related reporting for quarterly earnings call, MD&A and related analysis
- Analyze actual revenue performance versus forecast and budget, identifying key trends, variances, and drivers
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Product teams to understand drivers for forecast and budget
- Monitor key performance indicators and maintain dashboards for tracking business performance
- Enhance and improve financial planning models for both short-term as well as multi-year forecast
- Become a power user of the Hyperion planning system and SmartView add-in to facilitate efficient reporting and planning process
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in Financial Analysis or related field
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required including complex formulas, pivot tables and charts
- Ability to employ complex analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business information
- Business modeling skills, capable of translating business logic to modeling logic to bring insights to the senior management team and support the business teams as needed
- Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills with well-developed presentation skills.
