What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Non Emergency Medical Transport position at GOGO MEDICAL TRANSPORT INC?
Non Emergency Medical Transport Drivers needed for parts of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Must be available on weekends.
Gogo provides two types of transportation: wheelchair and gurney. Job duties include: driving company van with a co-worker on board; greet passengers and take them to their healthcare provider or drop them off back home or facility after appointment; complete required paperwork after each trip; use company phone to follow route updates and to communicate with dispatch, patients and facilities: make sure the van is clean, fueled up properly and fully stocked; report any issues with the van promptly to supervisor (in writing).
Successful drivers must have a positive attitude, be patient, professional, team oriented, have good communication skills and be well groomed. Prior experience as a driver is preferred as is prior experience as a caregiver for the elderly.
Successful candidates must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license (for at least three years), have a clean driving record, be able to lift over 100 lbs, and pass a physical and a drug test. CPR certification (Red Cross type) is required. EMT license and experience is a plus.
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Uniforms are provided by Gogo.
