Position Overview

The Lead Spray Tan Specialist is a pivotal role within the goGLOW team, combining hands-on spray tanning expertise with leadership responsibilities. In this hybrid role, you’ll deliver exceptional client experiences, mentor team members, and support day-to-day boutique operations. As a go-to resource, you’ll play an integral role in fostering a welcoming, empowering environment where clients and team members can thrive.

Key ResponsibilitiesSpray Tanning Services:

• Provide personalized spray tan applications using goGLOW’s proprietary techniques to achieve flawless, natural-looking results for clients.

• Educate clients on proper aftercare and recommend goGLOW products tailored to their skincare needs.

• Uphold goGLOW’s promise of providing a luxurious, confidence-boosting experience.

Operational Support:

• Assist with scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and smooth daily operations.

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to the leadership team.

• Support other administrative tasks to maintain efficient boutique operations.

Client Engagement & Boutique Support:

• Build strong client relationships by addressing questions, concerns, and feedback professionally and promptly.

• Promote memberships and skincare products, personalizing recommendations to enhance the client experience.

• Proactively manage client communication through the store’s client management software, including reaching out to customers who leave reviews and regularly connecting with members to maintain strong relationships.

• Assist in maintaining the boutique’s welcoming, clean, and professional atmosphere.

Creative Brand Engagement:

• Develop and share creative social media content ideas to showcase goGLOW services and foster client engagement.

Qualifications:

• Experienced & Confident: Proven experience as a Spray Tan Specialist or in a similar role is preferred, but exceptional entry-level candidates with strong customer service skills and enthusiasm for skincare will be considered.

• Leadership Skills: A natural mentor and team player who enjoys supporting and uplifting colleagues.

• Customer Service Oriented: Strong people skills with a passion for creating exceptional client experiences.

• Physical Requirements: Comfortable performing the goGLOW spray tanning technique, which requires squatting and fluid arm movements for extended periods.

We are seeking a professional and personable Lead Spray Tan Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional spray tanning services, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a keen eye for sanitation and safety standards. As a Lead Specialist, you will also mentor junior team members and uphold the highest quality standards for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform spray tanning services with precision and professionalism, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for each client
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend appropriate tanning solutions based on client needs and skin types
• Upsell additional products or services to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
• Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including processing payments and issuing receipts
• Educate clients on aftercare instructions to maximize results and promote repeat business
• Assist in training new team members, sharing best practices, and ensuring adherence to company standards
• Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimize daily operations

Experience

• Proven experience in sales, customer service, or cosmetology preferred
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices within beauty or skincare services
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products or services effectively while maintaining excellent customer relationships
• Experience handling cash transactions accurately is desirable
• Previous work in spray tanning or related beauty treatments is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
