We’re hiring an experienced Welder Foreman who can guide a team, perform hands on welding, deliver clear communication, and steady leadership. You’ll lead crews, uphold quality, and help us deliver the kind of top tier work our customers trust us for. What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Perform welding on a variety of metals and alloys
- Inspect welds to ensure accuracy and quality
- Lead, coach, and mentor crew members
- Address discipline or performance issues when needed
- Maintain productivity and positive morale
- Ensure adherence to company and customer policies
What You Bring
- Minimum of 2 years welding experience (TIG, stick, fit-up)
- Strong fabrication skills, including stainless steel and food‑grade equipment
- Experience with thin‑gauge stainless, polishing, and sanitary welding
- Full knowledge of fitting with high accuracy
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to travel across the Magic Valley and beyond
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
$3500 Sign‑On Bonus
We offer a $3500 sign‑on bonus for candidates who remain employed with Goff Welding for one full year.
- If the employee resigns or is terminated for cause before 12 months, the bonus must be repaid in full.
- Payment/Repayment terms will be clearly outlined in the hiring agreement.
