Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Shipping lead, the assembler will gather all needed materials, parts, and hand tools and construct custom pallets, crates and boxes.
Primary responsibilities:
- Verify all inbound and outbound shipments matches documentation
- Maintain precise and accurate documentation of existing inventory and shipped goods
- Provide tracking information to all appropriate parties.
- Manage missing freight or damaged product issues
- Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment
- Input notes and information in NetSuite throughout the order process
- Other duties as required
Abilities, Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Basic ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong mechanical aptitude with prior manufacturing experience
- Experience with various power and hand tools
- Should have the ability to accurately read and use various measuring devices
- Computer skills; work well with Word, Excel, Outlook, and NetSuite
- Identify areas for improvement, particularly regarding workplace efficiency
- Ability to read prints is helpful
