What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fuel Truck Driver - Evenings - CDL A or B position at Goetz Energy Corp. / Kurk Fuel Co.?
Goetz Energy currently has an immediate opening for a Petroleum Truck Driver in our Kurk Fuel division. This position will be responsible for delivering fuel to our customers tanks and equipment in the Western New York area. The schedule for this opening is days with flexible scheduling offered and ample opportunities for overtime. This driver will work Monday - Friday with occasional weekends as required.
Class A(preferred) or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement is necessary. Previous fuel delivery experience is preferred but training is available for those willing to learn. Experience driving a 10 speed manual transmission truck is also required. Applicants with automatic restrictions cannot be accepted at this time. A valid NYS drivers license and a current MVR is required along with a valid and current DOT Medical certification card. The candidates will be required to pass a drug and alcohol screen as well as a background verification.
The driver will be responsible for making sure the equipment is maintained to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues on a daily basis. The driver will conduct pre and post trip as well as visual tank inspections daily. Any issues are expected to be reported for immediate attention.
