Our International Baccalaureate Programme prepares them to be self-motivated citizens who will thrive in the global world. Overview Goethe International Charter School (GICS) seeks a dynamic science middle school teacher who is committed to meeting the needs of all students in a multilingual learning environment. Working in collaboration with partner teachers the International Baccalaureate Coordinator, RSP teachers, and school administrators, the science teacher implements a rigorous instructional program. This program includes the presentation of science concepts clearly and effectively, inquiry based learning, and diverse instructional strategies such as demonstration, discussion, and collaborative group work. GICS teachers embrace diversity and learning differences, constructing opportunities that nurture all students’ growth. GICS serves grades TK – 8th grades. Preference will be given to candidates who are experienced in the International Baccalaureate Programme (IB PYP & MYP). Candidates must possess or qualify for a California Science Teaching Credential.
