The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe and efficient distribution of materials throughout the plant to support production operations. This role includes loading and unloading transfer trailers traveling between our facilities and Distribution Center, as well as maintaining an organized cooler and inventory system.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary job duties and responsibilities include:
- Load outbound transfer trailers, utilizing a handheld scanner and inventory sheet to verify accuracy of outbound shipments.
- Unload inbound trailers and put product away in the appropriate locations.
- Organize the cooler, put away combos and dry materials, and maintain the whiteboard chart.
- Distribute materials efficiently to the appropriate departments as needed.
- Answer radio calls promptly and handle requests in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job include:
- Warehouse experience required.
- High Reach Forklift experience preferred.
- Forklift Certification is a plus.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and dependable.
- Ability to work overtime and mandatory Saturdays as needed.
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Must have a positive "can-do" attitude.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment. Daily exposure to cold temperatures (35 to 40 degrees F) is required. Mandatory overtime and Saturday work when needed.
Physical Requirements
- Standing and/or walking up to 10 hours daily.
- Bending and twisting while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift, retrieving items from floor or lower shelf areas.
- Lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Use of both hands and arms: reaching and grasping.
- Visual and hearing abilities required to perform essential job functions and maintain warehouse safety standards.
- Constant climbing on and off pallet jack, forklift, and/or high reach equipment.
