Job purpose

The Brand Manager plays a key role in leading strategic brand marketing activities and managing multiple marketing programs to promote our products, enhance brand awareness, and drive customer engagement and advocacy. Collaborates with a team of marketing professionals and ensures the successful execution of marcom campaigns across various channels. Strategic thinking, combined with superior project management and leadership skills, is essential to achieving our marketing objectives and maximizing our brand's market impact.


Duties and responsibilities

Primary job duties and responsibilities include:


  • Assist in the development of long- and short-term marketing strategies and plans to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Actively gather, analyze, and present brand, competitor, and consumer insights, trends, and data.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling marketing collateral, including advertisements, branded content, packaging, and promotional materials.
  • Support the sales team with best-in-class retailer-specific merchandising and shopper marketing materials as needed for new and existing distribution growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including but not limited to event marketing, digital, social media, email, and traditional media.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing strategy performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize effectiveness and ROI.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges for the business.
  • Manage assigned marketing budget effectively and ensure resources are allocated efficiently to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to peers to ensure their professional growth and effective performance.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications required to perform the job successfully include:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (min. 5 years) in a marketing role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong leadership abilities, capable of inspiring and motivating peers toward achieving common goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and levels of the organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices, with a track record of successfully executing omni-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including but not limited to Google Analytics, social media management tools, and email marketing software.
  • Strong project and time management skills, adept in prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Financial acuity.


Working conditions


  • Office-based environment with occasional travel for meetings, conferences, events, or stakeholder visits.

Physical requirements


  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking may be required.
  • Fine motor skills for typing, using a mouse, and operating office equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry marketing materials and equipment as needed.
  • Good vision and hearing abilities for conducting presentations and communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
