Responsibilities
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, and pipe threading equipment to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure precise installation and repair work aligned with project specifications.
- Use welding skills when necessary for pipe repairs or custom fabrications; operate heavy lifting equipment safely for moving materials or equipment.
- Maintain a clean work environment by following safety protocols; perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates as needed.
- Drive commercial vehicles as required for material transport or site visits; demonstrate handyman experience when addressing miscellaneous repair needs on-site.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance in both residential and commercial environments.
- Hands-on experience with construction plumbing techniques including pipe threading, schematics interpretation, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge of water systems.
- Familiarity with plumbing inspection cameras, water system troubleshooting tools, power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and schematics is essential.
- Knowledge of local building codes related to plumbing systems ensures all work meets regulatory standards.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Valid driver’s license.
