Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, TOAST, to process customer orders accurately.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly service and assisting with menu selections.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the service area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling practices.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants, is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is beneficial.
- Experience using POS systems, including TOAST or SQUARE, is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
