Organization Overview: The Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) and the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies that support services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. Program Description: Goddard Riverside’s Manhattanville (MNVL) Resource Center is a social service hub located in West Harlem in the MNVL NYCHA development, and which exclusively serves its residents. The MNVL Resource Center helps low-income individuals and families access and receive entitlements, benefits and resources. The MNVL Resource Center also offers an array of services including but not limited to, benefits screening, financial counseling, legal consultation and referrals to support services in the community and citywide.
Position Summary: The Manhattanville Resource Center is looking for a highly motivated individual to support intergenerational and community engagement efforts. In collaboration with the Resource Center staff, this role supports program recruitment efforts and helps with residents’ engagement in programming.
Schedule: Monday-Friday Part time position/Occasional evening/weekend hours may be required. (10AM-2PM or 1PM-5PM)
Hourly Rate: $20-$24 per hour
Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position. The salary offer will be based on the candidate’s number of years experience in the exact or comparable position and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account.
