Role Description
This is a full-time/part-time, on-site position located in Brownsville, TX, for a Childcare Teacher. The Childcare Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational and developmental activities for children. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering creative lessons, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, supporting the emotional and social development of children, and ensuring their well-being and safety at all times. The role also requires collaboration with parents and guardians to build strong partnerships and provide feedback on children’s progress.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Background check required
- Childcare experience and knowledge of early childhood development and pedagogy
- Creativity and the ability to design age-appropriate and engaging activities for children
- Skills in adaptability and the ability to manage diverse learning styles and environments
- Experience with kindergarten-level teaching and classroom management techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with children, colleagues, and parents
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus
- Passion for fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
