What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Toddler Teacher, Closer position at God's Bright Treasures Ministry Inc?
Duties:
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for toddlers
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Teach basic early childhood academic skills according to curriculum
- Foster social and emotional development through play and interaction
- Encourage physical education and outdoor play
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Requirements:
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications/licenses
Note: Experience in daycare settings, tutoring, or child welfare is highly desirable. This position is for a daily closer, with flexibility to fill in on other times, as needed.
