Key Responsibilities
- Perform precision welding using standard MIG (GMAW) and MIG Pulse processes on thin-walled tubing and light-gauge materials.
- Fit and assemble tubing components according to blueprints, technical drawings, and custom shop fixtures.
- Manage heat input strictly to prevent burn-through, warping, and dimensional distortion on thin materials.
- Inspect finished parts using tape measures, squares, and calipers to verify strict dimensional tolerances.
- Maintain tools and keep a clean, safe workstation compliant with safety standards.
Position Requirements
- Experience: Minimum [1–2 years] of industrial welding experience, specifically working with thin-gauge metal or tubing.
- Process Mastery: Proven proficiency setting up and fine-tuning MIG Pulse programs to control heat and reduce spatter.
- Layout Skill: Experienced in using measuring tools down to fractional or decimal tolerances for precise gaps and joints.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to [50 lbs], and work comfortably with industrial machinery, heat, and sparks.
- Interview Test: Must pass a mandatory, hands-on in-shop tube fabrication and weld test during the interview process.

Interview & Weld Test Process
Candidates who meet initial screening criteria will be required to complete an in-shop practical weld test at the time of the interview.
- The Test: You will be given raw, thin-walled tubing material you will be expected to fit up, and weld the assembly using standard MIG or MIG Pulse configurations.
- Evaluation Criteria: Fit-up accuracy, heat management (no burn-through), and weld profile/appearance.
