GoBind Graphics is looking for an experienced Folding Machine Operator with strong skills on MBO and Stahl folders. This position is hands-on and fast-paced, focused on producing precise folds for pharmaceutical inserts, book components, and other specialty products. - Review job tickets and confirm job specs before beginning each run.
- Set up and operate MBO and Stahl folders to achieve required folds and tolerances.
- Follow established Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) procedures, including line clearance, documentation, and quality checks.
- Partner with QA and production staff to maintain high product standards.
- Monitor productivity targets and make machine adjustments to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve them quickly and safely.
- Record set-up and production details using electronic forms.
- Assist other operators and contribute to daily production needs.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance; complete maintenance logs.
- Pack at the folding station when necessary.
- Take on additional duties as needed.
- 3–5 years of folding machine experience (MBO and/or Stahl required).
- Previous work in a manufacturing or print finishing environment; pharmaceutical folding experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
- Able to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
