About the Role
Are you a closer with a background in the trades? GOAT Garage Doors is looking for a motivated, high-energy Part-Time Sales Representative to join our team.
This is a 100% commission-based role with unlimited earning potential. We are looking for a "hunter" who can navigate various professional environments—from a homeowner’s living room to a high-stakes commercial job site.
What You’ll Do
- Diverse Client Engagement: You will be the face of the company for residential homeowners, general contractors, and B2B (business-to-business) clients. You must be able to adapt your communication style to fit each audience.
- Dual-Stream Lead Management: You will be expected to cultivate your own leads through networking and local outreach, while also diligently following up on leads cultivated and provided by the company.
- On-Site Consultations: Meet with clients to assess garage door needs, take technical measurements, and provide expert solutions.
- Close the Deal: Provide accurate estimates, present our premium product line, and secure contracts on the spot.
Requirements
- Construction Experience (Strict Requirement): You must have a solid understanding of structural basics, framing, or general home improvement. You need to "speak the language" of the job site to gain the trust of homeowners, contractors, and business owners.
- Sales Versatility: Experience navigating different sales cycles, from quick residential wins to complex contractor bidding.
- Communication Skills: Ability to build instant rapport and handle objections with professionalism and grit.
