GoAhead Solutions has a great opportunity for an IMS System Programmer in Dallas, TX(Remote). This would be a Twelve month contract to start out. This position can be onsite or fully remote.
Job Responsibilities
-Experience working within an IMS Database environment. Familiarity with mainframe functional areas such as z/OS Operating System, Storage, Databases, CICS, and Disaster Recovery concepts.
-Experience in IMS V15.5 or Later upgrade with SMP/E
-Experience in ISV products include, but are not limited to CA database tools, IBM database tools, Sysview, Omegamon, and Mainview.
-Experience in IMS Database Objects, Logical Unit definitions, and IMS Commands.
-Expert in IMS configuration like SYSGEN, PSBGEN, Subsystem configuration.
-Will serve as primary technical contact for the mainframe Database for one or more clients during transition.
Experience level
-12 years of professional work experience as an IMS Mainframe System Programmer.
Technical key skills (Mandatory skills)
-Expertise in performing SMP/E and Non-SMPE Installation of ISV products)
-Expertise in IMS V15.5 or later upgrade
-Mastery of IMS Database objects, PSB, ACB and SYSGEN process.
Salary : $55 - $60
