A well-established California-based defense litigation firm in Woodland Hills is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to take on meaningful work across a range of complex matters. This is a full-time, in-office role designed for attorneys who want to develop their litigation skills while working alongside experienced trial lawyers.
What You’ll Own
• Direct involvement in cases from early strategy through resolution
• Drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal briefs
• Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation
• Participating in depositions, client meetings, and settlement negotiations
• Collaborating closely with senior attorneys on case development
This is not a back-office role — this is hands-on litigation experience.
What We’re Looking For
• 3–10 years of litigation experience
• Background in personal injury, construction defect, or commercial litigation preferred
• Experience in a law firm environment with billable hour requirements
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills
• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• Courtroom experience is a plus
• Detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset
Compensation & Benefits
• $120,000 – $175,000 base (DOE)
