What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Manager position at GO Rentals?
GO RENTALS NOW HIRING BATON ROUGE, LA - BRAND NEW LOCATION
Area Manager - Baton Rouge
Plant the flag. Build the team. Bring luxury hospitality to the heart of Louisiana.
At Go Rentals, every key handed over is a promise: that the next mile of our guest's journey will feel as elevated as the destination itself. We are the only luxury auto rental company appointed Brand Official by Forbes Travel Guide - the world's only independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, and spas. We earned our place alongside an extraordinary roster of FTG Brand Officials, each hand-selected for impeccable standards of service in luxury hospitality.
Now we're bringing Go Rentals to Baton Rouge, Louisiana - and we're looking for a founding Area Manager to open the doors, build the team, and set the standard from day one.
The Opportunity - Founding Area Manager, Baton Rouge
This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity. You won't be stepping into someone else's playbook - you'll be writing it. As the inaugural Area Manager for our brand-new Baton Rouge location, you'll hire your team, shape the culture, build the partner relationships, and introduce Louisiana to the only Forbes Travel Guide Brand Official in luxury auto rental.
You'll lead a service and sales team that includes Location/Assistant Managers, Guest Service Managers, Lead Carcierge™, Carcierge™, Lead Drivers, Drivers, and Car Wash/Detail Specialists - based at our premier FBO (private aviation terminal) and hotel partner locations in the Baton Rouge market.
You'll own guest satisfaction, sales performance, market share, and profitability for your location - and you'll do it with the polish, pace, and presence that defines the Go Rentals brand.
What You'll Do
The Physical Side of the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic FBO or hotel environment. You should be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for up to 8 hours; lift up to 45 lbs. without assistance; and move comfortably between indoor and outdoor settings in varying weather. You'll work around the sights, sounds, and energy of private aviation - it's part of the magic of the job.
Full-Time Employee Company Benefits
Go Rentals is an EEO-compliant employer. We provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or military status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Let's be honest - Baton Rouge is having a moment. Louisiana's capital city is one of the most underrated places to live and work in the South: serious Southern hospitality, world-class food, big-stage sports, and a cost of living that lets your paycheck actually breathe.
- Saturdays in Death Valley. Tiger Stadium on an LSU gameday is one of the loudest, most electric experiences in American sports - and your new neighbors take it very seriously.
- Food that ruins you for everywhere else. Crawfish boils in the spring, gumbo and étouffée year-round, beignets on the weekend, and a local-restaurant scene that punches far above its weight.
- Festival energy on tap. Mardi Gras parades, Bayou Country Superfest, Baton Rouge Blues Festival, FestForAll, and the legendary White Light Night - there's almost always a reason to be out and about.
- Music, music, music. Zydeco, jazz, blues, brass - live music spills out of clubs, patios, and front porches from Mid City to downtown.
- The river, the bayou, the outdoors. Mississippi River sunsets, kayaking on the Bluebonnet Swamp, weekend fishing trips, and easy access to the Atchafalaya Basin - Louisiana is called Sportsman's Paradise for a reason.
- New Orleans? 80 miles down I-10. The French Quarter, world-class restaurants, Saints games, and Jazz Fest are all an easy weekend away.
- Cost of living that just makes sense. Bigger home, lower mortgage, no state income tax surprises like California - your money goes further here, period.
- People who treat hospitality like a love language. Southern warmth is built into the culture - exactly the talent pool you want when you're hiring for a Forbes Travel Guide-caliber team.
If you've been waiting for a chance to lead in a market with real momentum, room to grow, and a quality of life that doesn't require a two-hour commute - welcome to Baton Rouge.
