Duties
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using industry-standard techniques to promote tree health and safety
- Operate bucket trucks, rigging gear, and other equipment to access high or difficult-to-reach areas safely
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including general landscaping to support overall site aesthetics
- Apply knowledge of tree care principles to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate treatments or interventions
- Support ongoing landscape projects by maintaining equipment, preparing work sites, and adhering to safety standards
Requirements
- Proven growing experience in horticulture, arboriculture, or related landscape fields with a focus on tree care and trimming
- Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe tree removal or pruning operations
- Experience operating bucket trucks, bucket lifts, or similar aerial work platforms (bucket operation)
- Strong understanding of landscaping principles including landscape maintenance practices
- Ability to follow safety procedures rigorously while working at heights or with heavy equipment
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be have an strong working understanding of the ANSI A300 pruning standards
- Must be able to trim trees and palms over obstacles with the ability to safely rig debris to the ground.
