What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive, Hospitality position at GO PR?
GO PR is seeking a dynamic and driven Account Executive with travel, food and/or lifestyle experience to join its rapidly growing team. Ideal candidates will bring at least two (2) to three (3) years’ experience and a passion for hospitality.

The Agency’s is known for its media relations prowess and out of the box creative ideation: From creating a buzzworthy, all “Pink Fuzz”room at Walker Tribeca in partnership with Pantone, to brokering western brand Tecovas for a cowboy boot lending program for Michelin-starred Charlie Palmer’s Cattlemen’s Bar, to spearheading a fully branded suite for Hotel Anna & Bel with Anthropologie Home.
A successful candidate will be a creative, out of the box thinker who has a strong work ethic and is a self-starter. Must be comfortable engaging with clients on a daily basis and leading initiatives forward to fruition and success.
Responsibilities include:
- Draft pitches and press releases
- Develop media lists
- Maintenance of regular day-to- day contact and close relations with media and clients
- Manage daily administrative activities on accounts including but not limited to media database maintenance and list building, reporting, media monitoring, clip emails, media stay briefs, agendas and recaps, etc.
- Assist with events
- Display clear understanding of client expectations and goals
- Consume local and national news on a daily basis and stay up to speed on current news and trends, especially with the travel, food beverage and luxury lifestyle industries
- Participate in brainstorms for creative ideas and strategies to enhance PR campaigns
- Participate in creative ideation for new business proposals
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of media relations experience
- Self-motivated, proactive team player
- Stellar organizational and communication skills
- Excellent writing ability
- Experience supporting and maintaining client accounts
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of media reporting tools like Cision and Muck Rack
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong understanding of social media and influencers
- Past agency experience
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple project deadlines across various clients
- Desire to grow within the company
