What You'll Do
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, residence halls, restrooms, and other campus facilities.
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting furniture, and cleaning drinking fountains.
- Emptying trash and recycling containers while replenishing paper products and restroom supplies.
- Cleaning windows, chalkboards, and other assigned areas.
- Assisting with deep cleaning projects during summer and academic breaks.
- Helping prepare campus facilities for special events and other activities as needed.
- Working with fellow custodians to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming campus.
What We're Looking For
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Takes pride in producing quality work.
- Is dependable, honest, and self-motivated.
- Enjoys working independently while also being part of a team.
- Has good communication and customer service skills.
- Can manage assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Is able to perform the physical requirements of custodial work, including lifting up to approximately 30 pounds and remaining active throughout the workday.
