Title: Loan Support
Location: McPherson
Reports to: SVP/Regional Ag & Commercial Loan Officer
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm
Occasional Saturday hours as needed (8:00am – Noon)
JOB SUMMARY
Communication will be key in this position. Primary responsibilities include direct support to lenders in all areas of consumer, residential, commercial and ag loan needs. Some ag knowledge or background is helpful. The functions as described below require an exceptional work ethic, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely manner. Responsible for greeting loan customers, both in person and by phone, making them feel welcome, assisting them and/or directing them to the appropriate area. This position will also back up other department staff when necessary and complete other duties as assigned.
DUTIES
· Face-to-face customer contact
o Decipher and be able to answer general loan questions for customers
o Decipher and be able to answer customer questions for escrow analysis
· Lender assistance
o Pulling credit reports
o Taking applications
o Preparing LPG requests
o Simple CV work (renewal, modification, deferral/extension, create new commercial/ag loan as needed)
o Processing consumer CV loans
o Prepare Denial/Withdrawal forms
o Review loan notices
o Run NADA’s as needed
o Search E-lien as needed
o Order appraisals as needed
o Loans Coming Due report and obtaining information
o Exception reports (compliance, CIP, CDDBO)
o Complete simple loan closings
o Preparation of final loan documents (sorting and highlighting)
o Basic financial entry
o Monitoring borrowing bases / LOC Ledgers
o Calling Insurance agents and commodity brokers as needed
· Delinquent Loan Assistance
o Contact customers with delinquent accounts
o Assist borrowers in understanding their options
o Process incoming payments and payment arrangements
o Document all customer interactions
· Processes/Inquiries
o Payoffs
o Advances
o Payments
o Payment reversals
o Title/Lein releases
o Simple loan maintenance—change of address, setup AFTs, auto pmt mgmt.
o Draw requests, LOC advances and payments
o Wire requests
o Loan funding (payoffs and proceeds to borrower)
o Research for customer loan payment history
o Processing of extensions/renewals
o UCC filings and searches
· Track
o Financial statements/tax returns
o NOSI/STA Follow-up
o COGS
o Inspections
o Unit priced or floor plan loans
o CRM
o Update ticklers as needed
· Simple loan document scanning
· Loan Setup
· Become a notary public
