Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders and payments accurately
- Manage food service customer orders efficiently, including taking orders, upselling menu items, and handling special requests
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols, including proper food handling and equipment cleaning
- Assist with cashiering duties, processing cash transactions, and managing retail sales transactions with accuracy
- Support kitchen operations by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation
- Ensure timely bussing of tables or clearing of dining areas to maintain cleanliness and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for handling cash register operations and retail math calculations
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow sanitation guidelines
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving, cashiering, or food handling is advantageous
- Retail or grocery store experience is beneficial but not required
