T002 .NET Developer - Senior

*Hybrid position - candidate will be required to be on-site 3x/week in the near future*

Duties and Responsibilities

The .NET Developer role requires a service- oriented mentality, high sense of ownership of the problems and requests assigned, focus on managing and resolving issues in alignment with the SLAs, establishing and maintaining communication with technology customers to keep them updated with status of their requests, initiating and performing changes on production systems and proactively escalating any issues that cannot be resolved within the established timeframes. Will work closely with client and various District agencies to define need or problem and analyzes problems and advise on or recommend solutions. 

 

Qualifications

a)         In-depth knowledge of the .NET Framework and .NET Core

b)         Expertise in building web applications including MVC and Razor Pages

c)         Proficiency with the object-relational mapper for database interactions

d)         Strong proficiency in C#.NET

e)         Strong knowledge of SQL for database querying and management, especially SQL Server

f)          Experience with cloud services, especially Microsoft Azure

g)         Skill in developing and integrating with RESTful APIs

h)         Proficiency in Visual Studio 

i)          Expertise with GitHub

j)          Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement

k)         Create technical specifications and test plans

l)          Understanding of the full application lifecycle from inception through maintenance

m)        Communicate effectively with clients and interact with client's Senior Management Team

n)         Understand and apply design and modeling concepts at the system level

o)         Strong documentation and basic unit testing skills

p)         Work with development team, users, and business analysts to analyze complex problems and define solutions

q)         Solid understanding of architecture of web applications, object-oriented designs and concepts and relational database design

r)         8 years for all the above

s)         Certification for any of the above
