Landscape Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of various landscapes, ensuring that properties remain beautiful and well-kept. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong understanding of horticulture, and the ability to operate various landscaping tools and equipment.

Duties

• Perform routine lawn care including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy grass and plant life.
• Execute landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and pruning.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Assist with hardscape installations including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as needed.
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Provide snow plowing services during winter months to maintain safe access to properties.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and machinery.
• Proficiency in lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices.
• Experience in gardening, horticulture, and tree care.
• Familiarity with operating excavators and other heavy machinery is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance.
• Experience in construction-related tasks is beneficial.
• Capability in snow plowing operations during winter months.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
