Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms,kitchen,
- Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Conduct routine tasks including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, window washing, and sanitation of high-touch areas.
- Operate cleaning machinery and equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting.
- Maintain cleanliness standards by inspecting work areas regularly and addressing any sanitation issues promptly.
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely by following established chemical handling safety procedures.
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout your shift.
- Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff or visitors.
